Story & Still began with a simple frustration: too many wedding photographs looked identical, and too few felt like the people in them. [STUDIO ORIGIN STORY — replace with the founder's real account of how the studio started.]
What started as a single photographer covering friends' weddings on weekends grew, slowly and deliberately, into a full studio — cinematographers, editors, a production crew for drone and live streaming, and a design team for albums and prints. Every addition to the team was made for one reason: to cover more of a client's day without losing the intimacy that made the first weddings feel personal.
Our photography approach favours observation over direction — we'd rather wait for a real moment than manufacture one. Our cinematography approach treats every film as a short story with a beginning, a turn and an ending, not a highlight reel set to music. And our commitment to clients doesn't end at delivery: we're reachable long after the album ships, for reprints, restorations, or simply to relive the day.
